Full Moon Gathering

SUNDAY, 27 SEPTEMBER 2026 | 7:00 - 8:30 PM

Flow Republic studio set up for the Full Moon Gathering special event, with yoga mats, singing bowls, candles and a glowing moon centrepiece.

Our Full Moon Ceremony returns this month.

September's full moon arrives alongside the shift into spring, giving us an opportune time to pause, reflect and set clear intentions for the month ahead.

Through Yin, guided meditation, sound immersion and ritual, we'll create the space to do exactly that.

This month, we'll be raising funds in support of UNICEF Australia's Nepal Flood Appeal.

Available to book with weekly and annual membership.

DAY RETREAT

Restore Retreat

Saturday, 31 October 2026 | 12:00 - 6:30pm

An afternoon to step away from the pace of the everyday, without leaving the city.

Join us at Flow Republic for our first half-day retreat, six unhurried hours dedicated to movement, rest, ritual and care.

We'll begin with an extended two-hour Flow, guided by three of our teachers, before allowing the pace of the day to gradually soften.

Across the afternoon, we'll explore a range of different practices, including guided meditation and sound immersion, with plenty of space between to rest, eat and simply enjoy being there.

We'll share lunch together and enjoy a guided self-facial led by a skincare expert, using products you may already recognise from the studio.

You'll also leave with a carefully curated gift bag to take a little of the experience home with you.

For those who'd like to stay on, there'll also be the option to join us for dinner afterwards.

yoga philosophy

Aparigraha

Pronounced: ah-par-ee-grah-ha

Aparigraha is a Sanskrit word often translated as non-grasping or non-possessiveness.

It comes from the Yamas, a set of principles in yoga philosophy that explore how we relate to ourselves, to others and to the world around us.

At its heart, Aparigraha asks us to notice what we're holding onto, and whether we still need to hold it quite so tightly.

That might be something we own, but it can also be an expectation, an outcome, a habit, or an idea of how things are supposed to be.

As we move into spring, there's something fitting in this practice. Renewal doesn't necessarily ask us to become someone new.

Sometimes, creating space is enough.

On the mat, we might notice Aparigraha in the moment we stop chasing a deeper shape, comparing today's practice with yesterday's, or holding onto an idea of what our practice should look like.

Off the mat, the invitation is much the same: to notice where we're gripping, and consider what might change if we loosened that grip, even slightly.

What could you make space for by holding on a little less tightly?

AND A LITTLE FURTHER AFIELD...

Our First WEEKEND Retreat

Last month, we asked you to tell us what you'd love from a Flow Republic retreat and you certainly gave us plenty to think about.

Across your responses, a few things came through clearly: somewhere beautiful, plenty of time to slow down, thoughtful movement, good food, and space to do very little at all.

We've been listening.

A slower few days away are now in the works, shaped in no small part by what you shared with us.

More details very soon.

UNTIL WE FLOW TOGETHER AGAIN

Thank You

Thank you for continuing to make Flow Republic part of your week.

With new rituals, retreats and ideas beginning to unfold, it feels like there is a lot to look forward to over the coming months.

For now, we hope spring brings a little more space, lightness and room to move.

Until next month...

With Gratitude,

The Flow Republic Team
